DIVORCE as a COURSE
Co-Directors, Dr. Julie Campbell and David Schel created a college course: Divorce as A Phenomenon, which we recently taught at a major midwestern university. Our objective was not to say divorce is good, bad, right, or wrong, but rather, to guide students in a cultural exploration and understanding with an ancillary benefit of them becoming better equipped to choose and be in healthy marriages and / or relationships.
Students loved it!
Now, we’ve created Divorce as A Course, a movement of Educators coming together to share thoughts, ideas, materials, energy, and anything else that will help reach a shared goal of divorce as a course at every college and university.
Our vision is a culture of thriving marriages / relationships through a reverse engineering of divorce.
We are a community of educators determined to see divorce, and by extension, relationships and marriage, taught as a stand-alone course at every college and university.
